The beluga can be found in the St. Lawrence River, from the Charlevoix region to the colder waters of Natashquan. Each summer, some beloved belugas are affected by the pollutants present in the river and are found stranded on the beach. Angora wishes to pay homage to this bright, faithful mammal and invited participants to knit a sculpture in its honour. The collective project will used with plastic bags, material founded in stranded belugas body. By creating this craft workspace which we can associate with the former native camps of hunting, we looked in our own way after our beluga. This participative performance was realized in August 2013.
