Pause, Art Souterrain (Montréal) & Stockholm Fringe Festival, 2012
Angora proposa en lien avec la thématique d'Art Souterrain 2012, Lieux de passage, une installation fait main où les passant.e.s étaient invité.e.s à prendre une pause sur l'une des 15 chaises récupérés recouvertes de housses de tricot réalisés à l'aide de draps recyclés. Un ilot de douceur qui évolue au fil des jours, grâce à l'implication de chacun et chacune. Une pause au sein du brouhaha de la ville souterraine. Au coeur du projet : tisser des liens, même s'ils sont éphémères.
Le projet sera repris au STOFF de Stockholm sur la grande place du Kulthuruset à l'été 2012.
For Art Souterrain 2012, Angora offers this little sewed and knitted island made by the skillfull hands of its collective. With PAUSE installation, we wish creating a softness, colouring and warm space who evoluating during the days. The project aims to emphasize, by the means of colours and softness, the savoir-faire of women in the tradition of needles work throughout a proposition that takes on the actual necessities of recycling. A break in the underground city.
